It's all about timing. Floyd fought Shane when he was coming off a spectacular win although a year had passed since he beat Margo. If Pac fights Shane now, it'd be like taking Floyd's sloppy seconds. Why didn't Pac agree to fight Shane back when he was hot? And why didn't Pac take the 50/50 split with a 14 day window offer earlier this year? Don't answer, those are rhetorical questions. I mean Floyd hasn't been doing much and he deserves criticism for it but it's not like Pac is squeaky clean. Pac accepts all comers. Its Roach who refused the fight. He didnt want pac to get in the ring with mosley who is a big puncher at 147. Pac is not tested yet if he can handle shots from big guys so they went in for Cotto at a catchweight. Now seeing Pac can handle shots from big guys, they went on to fight Clottey and now Margarito.
