Lets go back to Janurary 12th of this year. Devastation in Haiti. Weeks later, Andre Berto backs out of a scheduled fight with Shane Mosley. Ok...with me so-far? Good!!! Immediately afterwards, the general forum lit-up like a Xmas Tree with posters (mostly Floyd-Haters and Pacquiao-Fans) saying: "FLOYD WILL NEVER FIGHT MOSLEY" - "FLOYD IS TOO AFRAID TO LOOSE HIS 0" - "FLOYD WILL DUCK MOSLEY, AGAIN". And yes...Floyd signed to fight Shane Mosley. Does anyone recall the overwhelming sentiment of the General Forum Immediately after the fight? "SHANE MOSLEY IS OLD & SHOT"...BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! Are you with me so far? Good!!!

And after the fight, I created a thread titled: "If Mosley is so Old & Shot, why did Pacquiao refuse to fight him..twice".
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=224354

After Mosley makes two attempts to negotiaite a fight with Manny Pacquiao, while bringing something to the table of being a Future 1st Ballot Hall of Famer and a Lineal Title Holder, Freddie Roach request "ANOTHER CATCHWEIGHT" but this is even far more ridiculous asking Mosley to fight at 142lbs or 143lbs. Shane Mosley hasn't weighed less than 146lbs since 1999...REALLY, SERIOUSLY???

Now, after a one-sided loss to Floyd Mayweather and a draw with a former Reality Show Boxer and holding NO TITLE...Bob Arum and Freddie Roach are saying that a fight with Mosley is possible for May 2011.

There have been over 93 Threads (and I counted them) from the Floyd Haters, that were asking Floyd Fans to defend the JMM fight. And as a Floyd Fan, I couldn't!!! I have always thought is was a shitty fight, although I can understand "SLIGHTLY" with it being a TUNE-UP after a 21 Month lay-off. But if this fight with Mosley happens, with Shane having Nothing to offer...Roach and Arum needs an "AMERICAN ME" style Ass-Whoopin!!! Now, there were also rumblings of Pacquiao fighting the winner of Alexander/Bradley...NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!! Alexander, Bradley, Williams, Martinez and Berto...Will NOT be allowed in the same AIR-SPACE as Pacquiao. This is what Arum is Hoping for:

Maidana to beat Khan: He's another easy to hit target for Pacquiao
Hernadez to Beat Berto: See above
    Andriy kotelnik: See Above
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to beat Gomez: Name recognition and again...See Above
Shane Mosley: Old, Name recognition and again...See Above

Williams, Martinez, Alexander, Berto, Bradley will not get a chance at Pacquiao, because Arum and Roach will not risk Pacquiao losing a fight nor his popularity WITHOUT A HIGH DOLLAR AMOUNT ON THE TABLE. None of these fighters can bring the $200-$250 Million Dollars like a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr could..in ticket sales, merchandise revenue, promotional and advertising sales, sponsors and lets not even mention the amount of revenue the city (Las Vegas, LA or Dallas) would make in tourism. The Mountain West Basketball Tourney in Vegas Last March made $94 Million. So Arum and Roach are not going to risk putting Pacquiao in the Ring versus a fighter with SPEED, ATHLETICISM AND SKILL FOR PEANUTS!!! If so...they would have fought Joan Guzman at 130lbs years ago...But that didn't Happened...DID IT!!!

The Fact that Arum and Roach would even mention Mosley, should tell you everything you need to know about how they operate. Now, I still believe it would be a good fight...but Shane had so much to offer before...But now "Team Pacquiao" are showing an interest...THAT'S STRAIGHT BULL****!!!

I agree!!! But in reality...the score is even. Pacquaio refuse a 14 day cut-off during the first round of negotiations...Floyd Bitched-out during the second round. This has to get done this time around. But if it doesn't...SHANE MOSLEY....REALLY, SERIOUSLY??? C'Mon Dude!!!!

It's the same case in pacquiao being bash instead of giving credit when he face diaz, hoya, hatton and cotto. they all say pac's going to loose and after the fight they would say hoya was weight drain, cotto is being damage, hatton being damage, diaz is not great etc.

nah. they both failed to compromise during the first time. now pac has called floyd's bluff and it was shown that floyd has no real interest in a pac fight. can you recall how floyd sr. advised his son not to fight pacquiao at all cost before all of this?

floyd's blood test demand is just a bluff that when it was called, then floyd's real intention since the beginning was exposed. i wish i am wrong but more and more people thinks that floyd really doesn't want to fight pacquiao until he showed signs of slowing down or damage.

    it is plain and simple.

"He doesn't have the urge to fight pac maybe he will have the urge to fight pac when pac is at his 35."

i really have a bad feeling about pac's next fight. he looks tired during training and I can feel that his hands is getting heavier. His previous trainings he was just smiling and enjoying everything but I don't see it now.

well, i feel he is now more interested in his new field and that is public service. if he loses his next fight or wins but struggles, i wish he retires if his heart is not up to it or his body is not responding the way it responds before. really, pac has nothing more left to prove.
