Khan's nice guy image is a load of bollocks, it's just there for PR, sure you talk to him he seems OK, but you don't get to know someone in a quick 5min conversation. I'm not saying he's a bad guy, he just isn't his media image. He basically wants to be the UK FMJ, in and out of the ring (Although not beating women, I am the houses,cars,diamonds blah blah blah)

 

Khan does have the speed to bother Dapidran in all honesty. Dapidran has been kept from fighters with exceptional speed. He's usually paired with the slower, brawling types. If Khan had the chin, I would give him a chance in a real fight vs Dapidran.

You say he's not a bad guy, yet you still dislike him? You say he isn't his media image, but which superstar is?

Just like you're telling us we're in no position to judge whether he's a good guy, we're telling you you're in no position to judge whether he's a bad guy.

 

He definitly is. Fascinating guy and I love his work, especially the one with Herzog like Fitzcarraldo and Aguirre.

From this and his success the other two things come from. Very natural.

 

Khan isnt going to be replacing Pac/FMJ as a dominant star.

Pac gets his status cause he is a fighters fighter and a top lil guy.
He deserves the props and country he has behind him.

Mayweather for his skills, even boxing purists marvel at such skills.

Khans only chance is if he keeps acting the tool and becoming a villain,
ala Floyd, only thing is that Khan isnt a defensive genius - nor has a chin.

 

It's a good job you're not his PR guru .

Khan doesn't need to do anything, other than to keep winning inside the ring. Him being a Pakistani/Muslim superstar at a time when a certain demographic are yearning for one, is more than enough to ensure his elite status in the sport. Him being who he is, will always make him a popular pick for TV companies, sponsors etc.

The only thing which will mess it all up, is if he fails as a boxer or does something outrageous out of the ring (drugs, woman beating etc)

Well it's only sparring...so those two having good and bad sparring sessions is very believable. It's the comments like, 'I've taken Pacquiao's best shots'...which you take with a pinch of salt.
