Would you back Larry Holmes to beat all four of Lennox, Bowe, and the Klits?

I´d pick Louis and Ali to do so. But that´s the difference between them and someone like Holmes.

I guess I agree with that...Yet, Wlad, Vitali, Bowe and Lennox never beat anyone quite in the league of a prime Holmes either, imo. Their best between all of the four's opponents possibly Bowe's earlier (than LL's) version of Holy and maybe LL's young version of Vitali? What do you think? Debatable, I suppose.

As in back to back to back to back? I wouldn't even pick the two best HWs to do it with any strong feeling. Humans have limits. That's a hell of a toll. These are giant, hard-hitting, skilled fighters. Even if you beat three, what's the cost by the time you got to the fourth one, no easy fights in between, just grinding out one after the other?

    He'd certainly beat Bowe

Just shows how highly I think of those two. And really I don´t think that high of Bowe and Vitali. If you talk about easy fights in between IMO that´s what Bowe and Vitali would be.

I couldn't disagree more, really. So much that I almost came to Germany over that comment. ...From my...fake Russian village.

problem is Lennox and Bowe were the start of the bigger heavyweights. Larry would be at a disadvantage to all of them. I think Larry would beat Bowe and Vlad Klitchko. and Vitali and Larry is pickem to me only because Larry is smaller, and Lennox would beat Larry.

Hard to say. Holmes would be out gunned in the matches, but he did have great skills, great stamina, a speed edge, and a battle tested chin.

I think any of the matches could go either way. Considering the trouble Holmes had with Cooney, a super heavy with some skills, he would really have his hands full.

The trouble Holmes had with Cooney? What trouble?

Holmes owned him, and would have finished him much much sooner if not for taking the safest route to a sure victory he possibly could.

Lennox-Holmes is a 50-50 IMO. Holmes advantage in speed vs Lennox's advantage in power, what with Holmes' powers of recovery I'd favour Holmes, just.

Bowe would cause him some trouble, but Larry is too good for the other 3. He stops Wlad and Vitali IMO.

    Vitali is shockingly bad.

He's no better than a 2:1 favorite against any of them, so statistically he's probably gonna lose if he fought all four.
