Both guys have had hard times and are both former world champs. Would you like to see this fight and if so who wins?

Judah is not what he once was, Rees always comes with energy to fight, I wouldn't mind seeing it, though I suspect even this version of Judah would win it.

    Seriously?

Rees got stopped by Kotelnik who is meant to be a non-puncher.

    Judah would murder him.

Even as a front runner, Zab would batter Rees for four rounds before stopping him.

It was hardly a first round KO was it, the lad deserved to stay out until the end.

He got flattened, IIRC. I used to have it on my PVR - it was hilarious. It was so uncompetitive and Kotelnik was starting to really hurt him. Good stoppage.

He got stopped in the last round, an easy win for Kontelink in the end I agree, but Rees showed good heart imo and ate a load of leather throughout the fight.

Taking into account the whole 12 rounds and the fact that it was a stoppage, I wouldn't use the word 'flattened' myself.

i think judah would have too much of everything for rees. the best thing rees has done lately is getting down to lightweight where i believe he will be more effective

The Zab Judah of the Ernest Johnson fight doesn't destroy anyone.

    He was atrocious.

Judah is not going to waste his time on Rees. Rees needs to fight domestic level opposition for the time being to prove he still has something.

Rees volume made it look competitive, but he shipped a hell of a beating in the last four rounds. It was funny simply because he's such a crude little fighter - lot of heart and very determined - just hopelessly outmatched at a weight he should never have fought at.

I wouldn't use the term "funny" to describe the pasting he got. Those last rounds were savage.
