I'm pretty sure a prime Bowe would beat Wlad too, but his resume is weak.

It is but, as the discussion is about the Klitschko's, his resume is better than either of theirs, especially Vitali's.

I agree with your second part & thanks for saving me the typing.

The bolded part however, I ccan't agree with. Lennox Lewis & Chris Byrd hold "wins" over Vitali & both were injury TKO's. Neither Chris Byrd or especially Lennox Lewis were mediocre fighters, not even close. Wlad has loses to Purrity, Sanders & Brewster, you could argue that they're all mediocre although Brewster disposed of Golota faster than Lewis did and that was the same Golota that arguably beat Ruiz & Byrd in his 2 previous fights.

hay, don't get me wrong, the moorer victory was a good win. but don't be so stupid to say that foreman gained his lofty ranking on the basis of him beating moorer.

So you're rating Bowe on what he could've been? :huh I mean, others here are rating the Klits by their worst performances such as Byrd for Vitali & Purrity for Wladimir.

Why does Bowe get a pass for what could have been?

Brewster took on a Golota that was faded and obviously not on the same level as previous incarnations. Not his fault as a fighter, but that's how it is. Vitali lost to a much, much old faded Lewis that took the fight on short notice. Prior to the cut Lennox was losing the fight. As for Byrd, I don't think of him as a superb or even a particularly good fighter. Without Vitali's injury he would have continued to lose that fight.

What do you think Lennox vs. Vitali would have looked like in their primes? Would Chris Byrd have had any chance if Vitali was in good health? No. On that night, they weren't special fighters. Byrd never was.

Obviously not. But are you saying that his 90's comeback run(arguably the greatest comeback in sports history) doesn't have anything to do with his ranking? that's just wrong. Foreman was able to prove his dominance in eras separated by more than a decade. How does that not affect his standing?

lol, Wlad hasn't even fought ONE top 50 HW ..... and Vitali's best mark on his resume is a 38 year old , overweight - out of shape Lewis... who busted his face up. It's a joke... all these Klit fans basing their ATG status on how tall and strong they look.

No it isn't. The Klitschkos are dominating the division with multiple defenses of multiple belts bewteen them. They are the first brothers to hold portions of the HW title at the same time and quite honestly they'd hold all of them if that *** Haye would grow some balls & fight. Vitali returned from a nearly 4 year retirement & fought the number 2 Heavyweight Samuel Peter without a tuneup. First time it was done in history & he won by TKO.

It added to Foreman's legacy, to suggest otherwise is ignorant.
