All he's saying is that their spars are competitive. Not surprising, because I think Khan's style is something that has been shown to be something of a foil to manny.

 

If Mike Tyson was at his Peak & sparred Khan, Amir would probably tell us he gets the better of Tyson, 50% of the time!

FFS, its sparring! Pacquiao is probably instructed to not go "all out" when sparring Khan! Come on guys, can you imagine in Manny landed a left hook similar to that which Knocked out Hatton? It would be a case of "That's all she wrote".

Khan needs to stop with this nonsense. Just because he spars Manny Pacquiao, does not mean he is Manny Pacquiao, or as good as him!

For the record, I do not think Amir Khan will ever be as good as a Pacquiao or Mayweather!

It was stupid in a sense that he's a celeb and things like that get out to the media quickly and can easily be misinterpreted. However I don't see why people can't relate and won't call it a slap on the wrist. I mean c'mon. Who doesn't enjoy sex? I don't think sneaking in a cookie or two into your room is considered unethical. It's not like he was cheating on his wife. If Khan is a perpetrator then Manny is Satan for claiming to be a devoted Catholic and committing adultery. Sheesh.

He took a bit from the Froch fans but I agree in general, he was pretty much free of it all. But when you are at the top of your game you generally are. It's when you begin to lose that edge and then do something bad when the media often pounce like wolves.

If Khan wiped out Maidana,Bradley,Mayweather,Pac, i'd pretty much guess that the whole of country would be all raging Khan fans and everyone would claim they supported him all along.. then he'd lose to someone, the media would set upon him like dogs and everyone would jump to "See I always told you he was ****!"

It happens with Hatton now, personally I never thought he was particularly that great a boxer but was above "average world class", however I know lots of people who 3-4 years ago would argue with me saying how he's the greatest there is, will dethrone Mayweather and is the best in the world... the same people now when in the pub and hatton comes up, and all the recent media stuff, will now say "Yeah, he wasn't that good, all he did was beat that aussie guy"...

 

Kahn must be wearing a football helmet with cushioned chin strap during sparring. thats the only way its 50/50

Yeah I know you're cool about it. I was addressing the vast majority of people of are vilifying him as if he killed a man. I'm not a fan of his and he has a way of rubbing me the wrong way but people's reasons for not liking are pathetic. I can see the slight arrogance though. That is their most valid point. But the car accident and picture shouldn't even be brought up as a way to slam him unless it's done in the context of a joke.
