:huh Can you please not jump all over the place. The point is, Pac has proven he can fight at 147. JMM has not. So, it's NOT the same, as you stated earlier.

Forget this clown obviously he is an alias, move on to the next joker...
Anybody who blows up Floyds win over Marquez is a ****ing Moron.
its a win yes but not worth much at all... again that was the only fight that Marquez had above 135 and he went in assuming Floyd would honor the contracted 145 weight agreement that didnt happen, and we have the result we have, I dont think the contracted weight would have helped neither.
Marquez can not move up in weight like that, a two divison leap? very hard to move up one divison much less two... if anything should be discussed about that fight it should be the fact that Floyd couldnt stop him... especially after all that pre fight talk... "You best beleive if I drop ya ima finish ya" that **** didnt happen neither...

YES! If the commission over the sanctioned fight knew of ANY rehydration Clause that would not be acceptable and the fight would not happen. There's a reason having the weigh in typically a day before the fight. That's to ensure that the athletes rehydrate properly after having to cut weight.

The rehydration clause is just a clever excuse for why any fighter loses.

yes he proved it by beating DLH!... JMM had his chance to prove it against mayweather and got beaten badly

so when you look back at the fight now,you can argue about him not being effective at the weight and that takes some of the shine off the victory but dsnt make it meaningless!

turpin beating SRR is a bigger victory than joey maxim beating SRR but it dsnt make maxims victory meaningless

now i agree with that!...SRL wudnt have allowed JMM to hear the final bell
and thats were mayweather falls short, when hes soo dominant in a fight he shud go for the finish and not be so defence and pot-shot orientated throughout a fight he has to learn sometimes you gotta open up and get your opponent outta there

PAc didn't prove it by beating ONE GUY in DLH, he proved it with fighting several bigger guys and winning each time. One guy? WTF?!? :patsch

I thought there were a few Floyd fanatics riding that whole "PAC's fights are FIXED" excuse. Now.....with all the talk of PAC winning his fights b/c of a "rehydration clause" or b/c the fights are at "catch weights" it completely contradicts their stance that the fights are pre-determined.

in the dlh fight you saw he brought his speed and power up with him! He didnt have to fight cotto and hatton to prove that! We knew it after dlh!

All that proved was he could beat DLH. It was more after that he showed he belonged at WW.

OK...I just have no idea where you think you are going with this. THIS is how we got here remember:

    So.... :huh

There's no correleation to be made. Floyd beats JMM..beats much smaller guy. Floyd beats Pac, beats guy at least much closer to his size. This horse dead enough yet?

had dlh beaten pac wud that victory be nothing more than a glorified tune up? No it wud have been a good solid victory over a world class fighter who challenged himself at a higher weight class!.....which is exactly what pbf victory over jmm was!......it was a good solid win! Thats all ive been arguing

As Daryll posted in another thread, I think it's interesting that now all the sudden SSM is mentioned as a possibility down the road, even though he's less of a draw now than he ever was, he's broken down based on his last two fights, and brings absolutely nothing to the table other than what he "used to be". He went from being "too good" per Roach, to now being a viable opponent? I feel as though it reinforces what some have been saying about Top Rank's handling/match making as it pertains to Pac.
