Both of those are myths. The Ancient Greeks figured out he earth was cylindrical in the 6th Century BC and many debated in Greece and India that the Earth revolved around the Sun.

Genetically African Americans and West Africans have diverged completely from one another. Mostly due to interracial mixing and diet even when being african americans closest ancestors. West Africans are notably shorter and darker then African Americans. The average West African is like 5'6 the average African american is 5'10.

China is no where near as poor as the phillipines and has contributed far more culturally and technologically aswell.
