    Poppycock.

The Champ gave a challenger a fair shot and the challenger came up short.

The Champ beats a game challenger by way of inflicting horrific lacerations to this face. The only thing that is unfinished is Vitali's career, which probably would've been ended that night if Lewis had been afforded further opportunities to work those injuries.

Vitali fans should be grateful their man was TKO'd.

Good Post :good Although I am curious about the bolded word!!!

Is that similar to other strange types of body part like Tennis Elbow and Cauliflower Ear? I'd imagine it's not too practical :-(

you get kinda 'old' as a boxer once you've spent the best part of 2 decades as a professional fighter.

prime lennox would cave vitali's face in and beat him into tomorrow

Fact is a prime Lewis is in a class above a prime Vitali, its not even a debate, as for the fight it was rightly stopped as his face was mangled, Lewis was starting to hit him with some vicious shots.

Klit fanboys are the most idiotic of all on ESB.

I'm fed up with people saying Vitali would have won. Yes he had a couple of good rounds but he was out on his feet for most of the sixth. Look how long it takes him to get back to his corner!

Wouldn't have to be a missed punch.... the scar tissue from the original cut would open up fairly easily

Agreed. That huge uppercut hurt Vitali in the sixth and another right hook in the clinch had him holding on for dear life with 30 seconds to go. Vitali was initiating most of the clinching later on in the fight and he was struggling to keep Lewis off him. Lewis may or may not have been the more tired after the 6th but Lewis was definitely the one in ascendency.

No Klit Fan quote of the week is Bretchko saying that just because SRR has a really good record doesn't mean he's better than Vitali :patsch

Prime Lewis got KO-ed by Rahman and McCall. Vitali would have destroyed him.
