    I could never call myself a fan, but he was something to see. They whole "cheating" thing was a damnable offense against a great champion in Arguello, but he did lots of good things without the controversy before that. Not for one moment excusing him for the Black Bottle Incident, presuming there were amphetamines in there.

    He could box and slug as he pleased, and fought with a crazed, maniacal fury that is truly uncommon, especially in that he could sustain it over so many rounds.
