Khan stand in the center of the ring with Maidana? That's suicide right there!

If Khan even lets Maidana plant his body/head shots into Khan, then he is screwed.

Khan won't stand there at all. He will use movement but won't be pedalling on the backfoot. More circling with combinations and flurries which will stop Maidana in his tracks.

Standing in the center of the ring with Maidana is like asking for a loss.

 

Trust me, he won't. Completely different styles.

Paulie isn't a pressure fighter with KO power. It will be somewhat similiar in the way he was moving but he won't be in the center of the ring. You never stand in the middle of the ring with a pressure fighter unless you're willing to brawl, which Khan will not be doing.

And just a jab won't keep Maidana at bay.

Maidana has HUGE heart, and is there to win. He will walk through Khan's jab just to get his own shot in. The only way to keep Maidana at bay is using combinations and being precise with your shots but at the same time moving and not getting hit.

This is the hardest style matchup Khan could have taken IMO and has to be on his A game and not make ONE mistake, otherwise it could be lights out for Khan.
