lol ! Calzaghe? So your claim to fame is a fighter who cherrypicked tomato cans his entire career, and then decided to fight a bunch of over the hill guys and get knocked down by them. And who gives a **** who is the best SMW ever, the division hasn't even been around for 20 years

i dont, i dont like warm drinks, nobody in my family drinks it to be honest.

although coming from a guy that lives in the coffee capital of the world....any tea jokes comes across as a little strange

The point is that plenty of guys with athletic talent aren't being directed toward boxing period. Not every athletic dude will be a great boxer, but once in a while there will be a combination of athletic talent and the intangibles that makes a great fighter. It's a numbers game, and despite the preponderance of big people in america much less of them are being instructed in boxing.

America produces warrior fighters. Please don't use Andre Dirrell or Chad Dawson or Floyd Mayweather as an example of every active american fighter. I also disagree with the notion that some ATG's wouldn't excel in other sports. Foreman would have been a force in american football, tyson might have too. I can see Muhammad Ali being a fantastic basketball prospect with his quick feet, great judge of distance/coordination.

I know man, to be honest I was just trying to wind him up a bit. When normal people have a debate, they give leeway and can accept when they are wrong...or even accept the other person's opinion...I do it, and I'm sure you do it. But MichiganWarrior is always "right", always biased...and never accepts when he is wrong. You just have to check out the 'Floored' thread to see that.

Thats one non american. Huge and ****ing fast. Dont mean he would be an ATG boxer though.

Joe Louis is regarded as perhaps the greatest HW of all time. How big and strong was he again. Yet we have alot of people saying he would slay the big HW's. And to the guy who says football doesnt need atheleticism. Try playing with elite players or hell even training with them and you would know.

Our national media's relegation of boxing to a fringe sport probably has more to do with it than anything.

And its not that we don't have the majority of the heavies in the top 100. The problem is that our heavies stink.

    It is true.

If America had better boxers, they'd have better boxers. QED.

I think Americans just like Stimulants .... I know that the majority of people in this country are dumb as ****.. I also know that the majority of people in your country are as well.. I am merely attempting to point out the fact that you are a nationalistic *****, and I am not. you do make me laugh though, so I forgive your stupidity.
