Chris John should defend december 1 against Fernando Saucedo.. if he wins, should start negotiations with Gamboa's camp for the WBA,IBF belts.
The fight should happen april 19.
    Go Gamboa!

Gamboa's way too fast and skilled for the IMO highly over-rated John. Stoppage, mid rounds.

This is going to b a good fight for YG, it is the general consensus tha CJ is the top dog at 126lbs, if YG beat him, it should make him the Ring Mag Champion. It will not b easy, CJ is a great fighter and has been at the top for many years.

Hmmm that could ruin the Lopez showdown.

Chris John i think beats both of these guys.

He is a big FW with decent power and great technical skills.

Gamboa probably has the better shot due to his speed and power. However i dont think he beats him.
JML i think has no chance to beat John based on John having close to the same power as Lopez and better technically and all around.

Were finally getting these fights with these little guys. Cant wait for this fight, plus the JML Marquez fight, hope for a showdown with the winner of the 2.

Thats a very good fight and I see John winning it. I'd be a little surprised if this fight comes off. Arum is more likely to avoid this fight until after his Lopez-Gamboa fight. John is a good fighter and his style would give Gamboa trouble. I'd be pulling for Gamboa but I see John by decision.

    Finally

Lopez, John, Caballero, Gamboa all need to start fighing each other, this is the first step in the right direction.

That's some good news right there! Chris John has more than enough tools to cause an upset.

If John was still prime he would absolutely school Gamboa but come on, he nearly got KO'd by Rocky Juarez in his last fight which was over a year ago. Now I'm thinking he may just get clipped and go down. If he fights very cautiously though he can win.
