, how would Floyd handle it?

Wa there PUN intended? I know Hearns love hunting especially ducks, occassionally chickens too.

So I guess all Gayweather have to say is it is OFF SEASON, its migration time (or vacation, urge, or whatever the *****s can come up with).

Honestly Mosely almost knocked him down with the first right hand that landed flush .... Hearns hits harder and faster ... Floyd would get brutally knocked out and probably quicker than people think.

In reality Floyd would go on vacation, beatup Josie some more and then threaten his kids not to call 911.

In all honesty Floyd is a great fighter but he just does not possess the needed attributes to cause Hearns any problems, not enough power, too low work rate and defense alone does not beat Hearns.

Yeah no way in hell anyone potshots a prime Hearns to victory.
People forget how much of a masterboxer Hearns was .... this is the man that outboxed Leonard for 2 fights.
This is pretty much the worst stylistic matchup you could throw Floyd in because he literally posses not a single thing that would trouble Hearns.

How is Floyd going to potshot Hearns with a 6inch reach disadvantage as well?

He would pot shot his way to victory over Hearns because there is no blueprint to beat Floyd. There are several blueprints to beat Hearns as shown by Leonaard, Barkley, Hagler, etc. :rasta

would have been interesting. with hearns power and reach, that shoulder roll would have been negated easily.

the most important thing is how to convince void to fight hearns in the first place.

maybe permanent vacation or voluntary admission to some asylum with ellerbe in tow.

Whether or not this topic even warrants speculation depends on what era we are talking about. In the early 1980's Floyd would not have been a top contender at 147.

i think pbf would have been competitive to be honest. and that is coming from someone who was introduced to boxing in the 80's.

competitive but not dominant. heck, if he fought smart, he might steal a win from duran or hagler ever, that is to fight outside and not to slug it out with duran, hagler or hearns. I think leonard will outshowboat him and throw him off his game.
