That uppercut was brutal but Vitali took it well, his chin is definitely made of iron though it did make him hold on to survive. But I was talking more about a right hook lewis threw that landed on Vitali's temple as they were clinching with about 30 seconds to go. It made Vitali grab on for dear life, lewis backed off and Vitali stumbled forward into the corner, while holding on to Lewis. That for me was a sign that Lewis had hurt him.

Vitali spent the whole round draped over Lewis with Lewis constantly trying to get out of the clinches. Then when the round finished Vitali took a very long time to walk back to his corner. He was done. Notice too that he didn't even going to complain about the stoppage until he was told to.

    Indeed!

Lets just clear up this matter of the cuts too:

There are clearly two seperate cuts on the cheek, one across the lip and one across the eyebrow.
All FOUR of these were clearly not caused by a lucky punch. Vitali just got caught too many times.

This is not what Manny Steward said to Lewis after round 6: "He is still fighting out there. Stay under your left before you worn him."

hey I thought that before you lot when i watched it live, me and my bro was laughing saying look how vitali holding on hes been clipped, i am very observant when it comes to seeing when a fighter was hurt, make no mistake vitali was hurt on more than one occasion, in one interview he says that "he" is very strong, lpersonally i could see lewis stopping klitscho not two or three rounds later, more like the Next round (7th)

Vitali was giving Lewis trouble blah blah blah, just how much attention have you guys paid to what was happening rounds 5 and 6? Sure 1-4 was shaky for Lewis but if you pay attention with that shite HBO comentary OFF you'll see Lewis nailing Vitali with some bombs of his own. Come rounds 5-6 the tide was turning, both tired but it was Vitali who was hanging on and trying to smother Lewis while Lewis was working inside or trying his damndest to break away to continue the assault.

Rounds 5-6 Lewis wasn't really in trouble at all.

^^^ Have you watched round 6 above? Vitali was landing shots regularly throughout the round.

 The uppercut is at the 2:00 mark and the clinch lasted 1 second. 2 minutes isn't enough time to finish a boxer who can see only through one eye and is hanging on for dear life?
