He was going to be my choice. I'd say there's two, him and Jones. Reason being that from an actual viewing point, Davis' hands are the quickest I've seen on film. But considering the force that Roy was able to put behind his punches, it's probably him P4P.
I don't think it should be a factor. We're discussing pure speed, not a combination of different attributes. Camacho, for pure hand speed, is the fastest that I've ever seen on film.
All I'm saying is, that if Roy didn't sit down on his punches as much, maybe he would have appeared faster.
I was gonna post in this thread, then saw that I had quite some time ago. My answers would have been the same. :bart
Its between Camacho and Taylor. I can't really split them. Roy is lightning ass fast, but not really with these two, I don't feel. He was heavier, its not his fault.
LOL your joking right? Taylor made Mcgirt look like an old Yori Boy Campas when they fought. Yey i know your talking about Mcgirt/Whittaker but Taylor was super blazing in every fight during his prime including the 1st Chavez fight. Taylor wins this for me over everyone.

Compared to the others Pep, Patterson and Ali look as slow as molasses. Pep didn't have that fast hands ever relative to his size.
