Weather he needed to or not, the weight loss played a significant factor in that fight, you cant slice it any other dirrection.
Manny Pacquiao is a future ATG, No doubt, but the way he is going about getting these big wins is by basicly draining a fighter down to weight in which puts a fighters life at risk.
What do you think caused so many deaths in the sport? fighters who have drained themselves down to make weight only to end up paying the ultimate price in the end.
How can Roach even ***** about anybody fouling using illegal tactics and claim he is concerned for the sport, when in reality he is putting fighters health at risk by demanding these catch weights....
and should a fighter die as a result of this mess, do you think Roach will lose one nights sleep? **** no he wont, he will have his nice pay check and move on to claim he cares about the sport being conducted the right way.

I am sick of hearing the BS when it comes to Mannys recent string of wins, the bottom line is all of them were catch weights his knock outs were at catch weight, his win over Hatton was only after bringing Ricky back down to 140, look what happend with Clottey, no catch weight and even though Manny dominated never once was Clottey hurt in that fight....

Bottom line you can argue DLH Hatton and Cotto all you want at the end of the day real is still real.

same thing could be said of the English language, or the spanish, or the German language to anyone who is foreign to it. You get different sounds for same words, and different regional flavor to it as well.

Spoken american English is not exactly musical.

Di naman sa makabayan. Hinahanap ko pa rin ang sarili ko.

Baka makita ko na pag ginawa ko yun.

Plus, nakatulong pa ako kahit papaano. It's a good starting direction.

That's true, I've heard plenty of times how bad the english language sounds to others!

But there are some languages that seem to be pleasant to the ears ie, French
and others that are not so much!

Two of my best friends in the Marines were Filipinos.

Also lots of Asians where I live and work so I hear the differences in the Asian languages!

Along with self discovery are self realization and self acceptance, then enlightenment follows. Parang naiba ata tema ng kwento.

    Mangaaasar na lang ako. :yep

for me thai women speaking in their native tongue sounds very sexy. same as the cebuanas (a city south of manila). It's music to my ears.
