Rex Layne and Roland Lastarza would look terrific on Vitali's resume right now. Never understood what HEgrants problem with them was, Lastarza was a 53-3 young, top rated brilliant defensive fighter, and Rex Layne was a 34-1 young top rated dangerous slugger. This is equivalent to fighters like Eddie Chambers and Alexander Povetkin. Vitali would love to have men like this on his resume.

Vitali did test positive for steroids in 1996...With all these latest modern enhancements, you never know what they been feeding him there in the Ukraine.

I don't think Wlad or Vitali looks too much like they're juicing. They are just naturally bigass athletic-looking dudes...

Imagine if Carnera was around today- he'd be the target of all kinds of steroid accusations... Now he looked like he was juicing- he was totally ripped, and for a big guy, with all those veins popping out everywhere.
He dodged a bullet by being born in that era...

Actually, he didn't dodge a bullet, because he was in an era with Baer and Louis... Ouch.

Maybe he would be better off in this era. Withstand all the steroid accusations he would surely invite, but have better success in the ring. He might fare better, although either Klitschko beats him in my opinion.

well both haye and povetkin are ducking him.

you really think it is he who is avoiding fighting these guys. Im not saying they are all nessesarily ducking him, but damn guys these klitscho bros are avoided for being so "talentless" challengers should be lining up to get a shot at the belts.

if the challengers want to be champ they better start calling vitaly out.

I agree with Haye and Solis from a curiosity standpoint, but the others are just leftovers or no-hopers.

I'm not trying to nuthug, but the only fights he's going to get at this point aren't to enhance legacy (other than numbers), but just make him more money.

I do, by the way, have hope in Solis-

    (hope, not trust, mind you)

    funny you say that....

61 yr old Foreman would still be better than ANYONE VITLAY has ever fought - except Shot Lennox who v.nearly MURDERED QUITALI. :deal

If Old Foreman came back in 2004 like he Wanted to...IMO he would of beat VOIDALI on cuts cos teh huge scar-tissue from Lennox fight massacer would be v.thin And easy to cut-open - BUT VITLAY would probs pull-out of a fight with him 10 times And retire for 8 yrs to avoid Old Foreman as 55 yr Old Foreman still 2X as scary as Rahman. :deal

Where's Coopman, Cockell, shot old Archie Moore, Roy Harris, Tommy Hurricane Jackson, Evangelista, Scott Frank, Joe Hipp, Bruce Seldom, Dunn, Wepner? This list could go on ad nauseum, especially if directed pre-Marciano.

Did Carnera have acromegaly though? With that, he did not need steroids.
