I thought the weight was the reason he lost to Hopkins, now middleweight is also an issue?, what if he loses next?, all divisions don't meet his requirements?

Steve Kim is a pretty reliable source, but that statement is pretty much the exact opposite of what KP said in the "On The Ropes" interview.

Pavlik said that he wasn't himself when he fought Hopkins for some reason. Funny, everyone who fought Hopkins seems to say that. Coincidence?

weight had nothing to do with hopkins. hopkins had everything to do with hopkins. it doesnt sound like he's convinced he can make 160 anymore...so i would expect a move up after the vera fight instead of a move back down.

The interview was actually pretty atrocious. Jenna and Rummy thoroughly trashed Pavlik before he came on the air, and then asked him questions he has already answered dozens of times. If it were me, I would have simply hung up on them.

Nothing new on the weight issues. Team Pavlik has consistently said they won't make a final decision on the next fight until after November 13th.

The interview was about as informative as a newspaper from 2008.

Pavlik has no one to blame but himself. All I want to hear is what he's doing to correct the mistakes of the past. That's all it matters.

He needs to get a new team , that can elevate his game plan, at this point I know he is tied to his trainer and his nutritionist, he needs to bring in a trainer at another level, that is experienced in this sort of thing, helping boxers come back and elevate their fight game to the next level.

Bute will easily finish him. He's already finished, though.

I agree. For some reason, they seemed to ask very negative questions, especially Jenna. And Pavlik answered the questions with class and didn't show that he was offended.

Pavlik's career is like groundhog day.

He will destroy Vera.....then Bute will make him look a fool....then he will need another break..... which will bring on Pavlik's drunken summer part III.

    Wash, rinse, repeat.
