I know this is old news now but ****ing hell....

Briggs pretty much just stood there while Klitschko jabbed and pot-shotted him.

Vitali looked like he could have taken Briggs out at virtually any time if he stepped up a gear, but just couldn't be bothered.

Make a ****ing effort! Both of you!

    :patsch

    I did.

I'll amend it to "re-watched" if it's important to you?

I actually just watched the first round and decided i didnt wanna see another 11 rounds of that garbage.

BTW wasnt Briggs supposed to come out guns blazing for the first 3 rounds? i dont think he even threw a power shot in that first round!

I think there is more to it than just standing infront of him, I mean sure he chose the wrong game plan but.....

Briggs was trying to draw VK into committing so he could counter, only to counter you have to draw the man into mid range, now I dont think Briggs got the memo, Klitschko bros are cautious fighters that maintain long range, they dont give it up for ****, irrespective of whether the fight becomes boring, the downside for Briggs, is his counter opportunity's came few and far between and he took a systematic beating as VK got more into a rhythm as the fight wore on.

Vitali is 39 years old. He simply was lacking the stamina for those additional 3-4 punches to take Briggs to the floor.

****? He landed 180 power shots on Briggs while Briggs landed zero. Briggs had a broken ear drum, broken bones and a broken nose. He was taken to hospital.

How on earth can one criticize Vitali at 39 years old for that type of performance?

PLUS... we had a PRIVATE team meeting right after the fight. No media...NO ONE but the team to look over some tape as to why Vitali didnt KO briggs. Vitali was frustrated he didnt KO briggs.... we figured out Vitali wasnt "sitting down" on his punches and at times was even crossing his feet thus not getting full power... more of arm punching.

Vitali knows he should have finished him.... not every night will everything go perfect..... but it was a very good performance..to say other is a joke

If someone gave me 10-ounce gloves and allowed me to hit them freely I am pretty sure that said person would also end up with a broken ear drum and a broken nose.

Vitali is just about done and ready for the taking. He cannot even keep his arms up to protect his chin.
