i am sorry, i am the biggest NON-Tyson fan ever! but, the tyson that fought holmes, would KO wlad in less than 60 seconds. Savarese styles. Wlad :!: Vitali on the other hand, not sure how it would go. Vitali is a tough mofo and too tall and has good head movement for Tyson to KO him. 50/50 Tyson/vitali.
Agree. I dont think he would walk through VK, infact if he managed to weather the storm, which I think he would, then I could see him giving Tyson lots of problems down the stretch, particularly as Tyson seemed to tire around the midway point. Difference between VK and Wlad, despite the obvious(chin), VK is comfortable on the backfoot playing counter puncher, where as Wlad gets disorganized on the backfoot.
i agree that tyson would of beaten wladimir quite quickly. i don't think it would be as quick as 60 seconds, but i do believe he would end it in two/three rounds whilst knocking wladimir down about three times. the problem with wladimir is he doesn't know how to handle pressure that well, and when caught he does have a tendacy to be too defensive, and that's something you shouldn't do against tyson. everyone who has beaten tyson has gone straight to him, not back pedal.
Well... we will never know right. Hopefully we can sort out the one good match at heavyweight... WLAD v HAYE!!
60 seconds I don't think so. Larry hadn't fought in about a year in a half when he fought Mike and he was what 37 years old? Lost two debated fights to Spinks.
60 SECONDS!? Wlad is 10 times better than the old ass, way past his prime version of Holmes that fought Tyson. Holmes lasted four rounds with him, and most of those rounds he wasn't really throwing punches. Frankly, Tyson was cautious the first round and wasn't going for the KO. So to say Wlad wouldn't last 60 seconds against a Tyson that was very cautious is quite rediculous. As far as Vitali goes, he's not much taller than Wlad. Yes he's tougher but I don't know what you're talking about with good head movement. His footwork is great and he uses his height brilliantly but the dude does not move his head much at all. To say he has good head movement is a really big stretch. Neither Klitschko has good head movement, that's a big part of the reason why they seem so robotic.
No way would WALDO beat that version of Tyson, not with his glass jaw and rabbit in the headlights approach to being hit. Worst possible stylistic matchup for old WALDO, he'd be out of there quick. His brother wouldn't last much longer either. They'd both have a chance against Tokyo Tyson - I'd still pick that version of Tyson to shatter WALDOS glass though.
Tyson showed tremendous skill during his Prime but what make you to suggest that he will easily dispatch a fighter who was miles away better than anyone he beat during his prime? And wlad WILL GET UP if knocked down everyone knows what happens to Tyson if he can't keep fighter down.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Yeah, and against a decent figher he gets flattened pretty much straight away again. Tyson isn't Sam Peter, he'd get WALDO on the hook and wouldn't let him off. Tyson by murder. WALDO couldn't even effectively compete with prime Tyson, he's too timid and gun-shy.
What made you think that? When exactly wlad was gun shy? If anything he tends to throw more when pressured. And he haven't lost in 6 years and he fought better guys that beat him. It's the same thing if i'll tell that because Tyson lost to Douglass he will lose whenever he step up with fighter who is not afraid of him.
