Vitali turned and walked straight to his corner after the bell. Why do you always act like he was disoriented or something? Lennox was already in his corner and nearly fell off the stool. :yep

    What applies is

A past prime Lewis was on top when the fight ended and Vitali was looking hurt and more troubled by the minute on the end of more vicious shots, he was holding on for dear life at the end of 6.

A past prime Lewis won the fight

A past prime Lewis would rightly have been heavy favourite if any rematch got made.

A prime Lewis is a level above a Prime Vitali.

Prime Lewis got KTFO'd by Rahman and McCall. Klitschko would have destroyed him.

Everyone knows Lewis' history he is one of the best if not the best of all time.

Lewis did destroy them remember, no guarantee VK does as he isnt as good as LL, he only fights punchbags these days that the worst version of LL would destroy.

    It doesnt change the following...

A prime Lewis is a level above a Prime Vitali.

The fact it that Lewis chickened out and didn't give Vitali a rematch like the one he got from Rahman and Mccall.

The fact is that Lewis was behind in the fight when it was stopped.

The fact is that Lewis was KO'ed by 2 lesser fighters and Vital has been never down or behind in a fight.

    :rofl

After twenty five years in the sport and all of a sudden a pro fighter becomes "chicken"? People who would **** themselves at the thought of getting in the ring talk like this - does that describe you?

You sound like your about ten repeating the same bull****.

Lewis did not get "KTFO" against McCall - the ref stopped the fight with Lewis on his feet wanting to fight on. So much for getting knocked out - he must have Michiganwarriored!

You are also wrong about Vitali (Pele Reid) but don't let that get in the way of this insightful analysis.

The fact is Lewis TKO6 Vitali. Totally legitimate stoppage, check out the lack of protest from the VK corner including Wlad.

Fact is that despite never being down or behind VK has twice not finished fights against the best oponents he has fought

a very nice fight, glad to see ll fight someone his size and height. not just heavyweight weight.

if only vitaly did not suffer those cuts, i think he could won a close fight. although there were times when lenox or vitaly clung to the other for dear life.

the problem is vitali was getting hurt, and when those uppercuts landed he couldn't stand up straight. some people like to believe that vitali was dominating the fight, which is just not the case. he was cut bad, but even worse, vitali was getting hurt late, and he still had six whole rounds to go, that's a long time to go when in that sort of condition.

vitali has never be known as a great finisher, why do you think it takes him so long to finish fighters off even though he's dominating them? i believe vitali should of beaten lennox that night, that's not saying vitali is so great, but because lewis was so bad. last time lennox came in that sort of condition he got knocked out, and vitali should of done that to lennox, but he couldn't because he's not a natural finisher like lennox.

lennox was in his worst condition of his career that night, and his performance and his weight proves that.. add that with age and lewis should of been beaten.

    Agreed :good
Lewis was there for the taking but Vitali couldn't finish it and after round 4 was getting hurt more often than Lewis was and Lewis was in the worst shape of his career. He was in worse shape than for Rahman 1 and everybody knows Lennox spent 6 weeks of training camp filming Oceans Eleven rather than training so just how much effort did he put into this training camp?

Lewis beat Vitali so bad that the doctor had to stop it.

He saved VK's life that night.

Yeah, yeah, had to dig deep for these excuses, didn't you? Perhaps cite schoolyard fights as well?

The point is Lewis technically won by TKO, but so did Rahman and Mccall against him. That does not make Lewis a better fighter same way it does not make Rahman and Mccall better fighters.

Vitali was fighting injured and was still beating Lewis. Lewis knew he would lose a rematch and cowardly refused to step into the ring.
