We will see. I have my doubts about it. Regardless, theres not much to unmask with Pascal, he is what he is.

As for Bute, Ill comment on Bute when he actually fights someone worth commenting on.

When they bring that old son of a ***** to the ring in a wheel chair, I may consider betting against him. Until then I will leave my money in my pocket!

That's what I think too. Pascal was there for the taking, but I for the life of me can't understand why Dawson didn't press him.

Dawson was afraid to fight Hopkins. Hopkins has a chance.

Pascal will win the first six rounds and one more at some point. Jermain Taylor type of fight with Hopkins finishing the stronger

bhhhuuuuuuuuteeeeee ... try it out loud, bhhhuuuuuuuuteeeeee ... it's kinda relaxing at the beginning but has a quick turn, and finishes with a comic face!

But yeah he did not yet fight top competition, we sadly have to extrapolate his quick KOs against solid B level competition. The result: OUTSTANDING!!!
Is there enough history to extrapolate well? open for discussion but... 40 - 60 on this one...
I still think and hope Bute is THE ****! P4P top 5

Hopkins is old! Everybody says that!
    Everything is relative!!!
This guy faught for roughly 20 years! His style made him not get hit too much, and we know very well that the career length of a boxer is strongly related to the amount of punishment a fighter takes / accidents .
What I actually mean is that for ex., Hopkins at 45 and Andrade at 36 will have taken about the same amount of punishment during their career.

Age has effects on him, but not as much as many think... expect a surprising win by Hopkins over a tiered out Pascal...

P.S. I just realized, Bute will fight past 40 yo, he doesn't get hit a lot. He's 31 soon, in 10 years, that makes 20 fights. Now if u count the number of B+ and up boxers on the market today at smw and lhw, u wont be getting more than than 10 names... He'll fight them all... just a matter of time.

With that being said gl pascal, but my vCash is on Hopkins :bbb

Dude, did you watch the fight? How many time was Dawson hurt by a Pascal counter-punch? 3 times? Maybe 4? That's why he didn't press, getting hurt has that effect on people.;)

dawson looked horribly ill prepared for that fight. and you can't do that with someone of pascal's ability.

well im from quebec as well, and for all thos ppl who think one fighter will walk through the other, GL, it wont happen.

this will be a bloody war, much like the diaconu/pascal fight, with either a SD or UD in the end for one fighter or the other.

what makes this fight good is that bHop is old, knows tricks and openings and can capitalize on mistakes.

pascal is quicker, stronger, has a good style to match up against bhop but he makes mistakes and leaves himself open, but he does have a good chin(hes been rocked a few times, but always comes back, like in rnd 11 with dwason, he got caught, stood for a second wobbly, dawson didnt capitalize and pascal was back to 70% with in a few seconds, this might not happen with bhop)

all that said, i think the power and speed will be too much for bhop, and like was said above, i see pascal winning the first 6 rounds or so and one or 2 more, for a SD or UD win.

but lets not forget we are talking about boxing and an awkward punch can knock anyone down, and both thes fighters have ko power, so we might see a ko, who knows

Ugly fight coming up. Pav's opinion is solid but I see Hopkins giving up rounds due to inactivity. Pascal UD.

Hopkins UD. In such a fashion that he can't be robbed, not even in Canada.
