    i am currently scanning some old magazine articles here due to the magazines deteriorating with age...

    rather than bug people with different threads of things i find interesting, i'll put them here...along with other other old articles i find online and wherever else..

    here the editor of boxing news has a rant at other boxing reporters...

    Dougie, very interesting clippings you posted of Jack Doyle "the Irish Thrush'. Doyle who looked alot like Billy Conn can be seen singing on
    youtube, "The Rose Of Tralee". Doyle had a beautiful tenor voice.
    Alas, he could sing better than he could fight.
    Also you have a clip from Ring Mag 1952 of the Joey Giardello-Georgie Small fight 1952 at Eastern Pky Arena.I who lived a few minutes away, saw that bout.Georgie Small who I knew, was the fighter who kod
