    Sykes completes the prizefighter lineup.

Don't hold out much hope for O'Hara though, its a more than decent lineup

Sykes, but that only makes 7

O'Hara, Choi, Derry Matthews, Scott Lawton, Stevie Bell & Gary Backland

Think this is a big risk for Sykes been the british champion, this could be the ruin of him unless he wins which is a huge doubt with Choi in there

*EDIT* just seen on the prizefighter website, the 8th is Gary McArthur

How on earth is fighting a top ten fighter after Duddy a backwards step? :? Forget about the EBU belts bollocks for a minute, belt or no belt, Macklin is the exact type of step up Lee needs after Duddy.

If he fights a boxer not in the top ten after he beats Duddy it will be a duck. And I don't think he'll get a fight of the calibre, ranking and marketability (in Ireland) that Macklin has.

Oh and Pirog pulled out of the fight with Macklin because he knew a title shot was around the corner. A wise move on his part.

why is everyone so eager to see our two best middleweights fight each other why not wait untill one of them gets a world title which both are capable of in my view and it will make more sense

Matt, how long did it take you to write that - it must have been a huge challenge to research all of that material. It is on my list of books to read.:good

I'll state first I'm a Rogie fan. I'm just repeating what I heard from a few lads from Belfast who told me Rogie lost the run of himself a bit and was more interested in the nightclub scene than training and that is why he was dropped by John Breen. Looking at the sexton fight maybe he had an injury but to say he didn't gas is not being impartial and rational about what happened that night.

I agree with what you said there. The Lee v Duddy fight is ok because Duddy is not going any further imo and its a chance for him to get a good pay day in front of Irish fans.

I would keep Macklin and Lee apart and hope one of them picks up a world title.

Pity they didn't have a chat with you, a phone call or an email doesn't cost much.

Does anyone know anything about the curator Jim Houlihan, he's a New York business man is all I could find.
