I did say in sport in edit - although we fight pretty good too. Of course we might do better if Eurofags in helicopters gave air support.

They couldn't invade Britain because the Germans made the mistake of attacking Russia while Britain was still "fighting". If it wasn't for Hitler's mistake of attacking Russia and would of just waited a few more weeks or a couple of months, Britain would of surrendered! Then Russia would of followed and finally the U.S.! Fighting your enemy one at a time would of been the key to German victory, good thing they ****ed up!

Do yourself a favour and read up on the Battle of the Kursk. I think you may have never graduated from high school.

Actually it did. Eastern front of war saved Britain(and world) Germany overextended their forces. Otherwise GB would be royally ****ed in no time.

It's a consensus among WWII historians that Germany lost WWII during the Battle of Kursk and the Battle of Stalingrad.
A significant percentage of the German land forces were committed to the invasion of Russia. By the time Germany wanted to invade Britain they have already lost the war on the Eastern front.

Germany didnt turn its attention to Russia until after the battle of britain. The Royal Navy and Royal Airforce was far superior to the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffa. Germany had no way of penetrating Britains defenses to launch an invasion by sea and were thoroughly beaten in the air.

With US aid and the inability to maintain a blockade around Britain there was no possibility of an immediate British surrender.

    Battle of Britain - 10 July - 31 Oct 1940

Operations Barbarossa(invasion of Soviet Union) June 1941

The Battle of Stalingrad was disasterous for German land forces in Europe. However so was US entry in the war and the inability to break the will of Britain.

If not for US and British entry into the war there is a good possibility Germany could have held out against the Soviet counter offensive.

Aswell as the British supply and help defense of Greece that forced the German invasion plans of the Soviet Union to stall and thus not avoiding the Soviet winter which was perhaps the biggest cause of German defeat on the Eastern Front.

I am sure if Germans really committed themselves to it, they could have flattened Britain (or Australia for that matter) to the ground.

And how exactly would they accomplish that? They were utterly routed during the battle of britain. Their navy was inferior to that of the british navy how exactly do they accomplish this task? Magic?

    You're so full of ****.
Half an hour ago you've probably never heard of the Battle of Stalingrad.
    Don't lie.
Also the Russian winter was a factor in the German defeat, but the fact is that Russians planned strategically, and had insurmountable anti-tank defenses was the most important factor.
