Don't you remember Freddie saying Pacquiao's speed isn't there? Plus Manny is bulking up and Ariza himself said is losing speed due to this so it's no surprise he said that comment.

 

but still why do they keep goin on about speed i think pacs been more succesful lately due to better precision and not wasting punches on speedy combinations speed is good but not always essential

And after people corrected what was written, the people in that thread still kept repeating the same ****.

You need to accept there will always be a new guy around the block who will be better.

 

Throughout this camp he's constantly been making comparisons between himself and Manny. One of his comments was "I learn from Manny, he learns from me..", if he genuinely believes he's in the same class of Pac he is deluded. I think Khan probably is slightly faster, but the fact Khan has no chin aside, he's has much less natural talent, less power. Having speed alone is never going to put him in the league of Manny and Pac

He should be concentrating on Maidana, not Manny. Maidana is looking awesome currently, he appears to be very focused for this fight

That is probably the best statement you've ever said. It's true.

Manny isn't the same however as he has power and he is technically superior, he could perform well even without the speed, albeit not as good.

 

but pacs been working on his precision which has made him more effective look at the morales fight for examples yes he was throwing quickly but morales knew when to throw and the precision was what won it for him speed can take you so far but when it comes to the elite you then have to work on other stuff which in respect to roach and freddy they have worked on better angles and precise punches like when hed lure cotto onto the ropes and turn him

Khan is still 23, he's a developing fighter. How can you judge a person's natural talent at this stage?

It took Pacquiao 8 years to get where he has. Look at how fast Khan has progressed, and he'll only get better.

I assure you, he's dead focused for what's ahead.

Khan is a joke. He's fast, perhaps a little faster than Pac, but Pac puts together better combos, with better accuracy, with a hell of a lot more power.

 

This is not new news Roach has stated many times Khan has faster handspeed than Pac, but i dont why then people get upset.

Fighters like Floyd and Pac are great fighters but they have had their time and soon will be gone, Khan is the future of the sport people need to accept that.

 

Precision is great, don't get me wrong, but to say speed isn't a huge asset in his game, is wrong.

Think, if Pacquiao threw slow combinations and precise punches as you say, do you think he wouldn't be tagged more?

Clottey couldn't even open up because Manny was throwing so many punches, and fast.

If they were slow punches, I'm sure it would be a different fight (Not to say Clottey would win).

Pacquiao's other assets are good, but I just see the speed the main winner for him.
