I just want to get an idea of where most of you are at as far as this goes. I'll put a poll up in a second. Who do you consider more of a H2H force in their best division? I'm thinking FMJ at Super Featherweight and BHOP at middleweight, but if you think Floyd would be a better force at lightweight or higher, just go with that...Can't imagine you'd think Hopkins at another weight. Anyway, taking these guys at the division you think is their best. Who is a better H2H force up against the greats of other eras in that division? Adding up all of their attributes, speed, power, durability, ring IQ, etc. Again, this is NOT a question of who is the greater fighter on accomplishments or resume or who has the most natural talent. Just as far as how they do against the best of their optimal weight class.

It shows how much Mayweather hate there is that half of the voters voted Hopkins and even 'by far'. Hopkins isn't in Mayweather's league ability wise and it isn't close. Even if you argued he was as skilled, he's not, then you have to accept Floyd trumps hom on speed, reactions, athleticism, stamina

Hopkins knocks him out because he's about 15 pounds bigger and the knockout will probably come by a "sneaky" headbutt

Well...if there are two votes for it...I suppose I'm forced to post two SNV movie trailer gifs...I have no choice, really.

    'Undecided - I'm just a dirty, fence-sitting ***** right now, sorry.'

Mayweather for me...the guy seemed near-enough "unstoppable" at 130lbs. And a H2H throughout the history of that division, I'd favour him against the majority...and give him a good/great/50-50 chance against the many greats.

Mayweather better head to head at their best weights, and Mayweather better p4p. Pretty clearly too. Everyone hates Mayweather and gives Hopkins a free pass for his behavior, disgraceful showings, and attitude so I expect a Hopkins wash out on the poll.

If I've understood this right I have to say Floyd Mayweather at 130. Hopkins I feel should go down as the better fighter at the moment in a P4P sense but I just don't feel he could handle the likes of Hagler and maybe Hearns. From what little I've seen of Robinson and Monzon I think he would struggle there too, also one could rank Jones Jr. at 160 if they wished to. People also highly rate this Greb chap who I've no idea about, but I've seen him at the top of some peoples P4P lists.

Mayweather on the other hand I feel doesn't have the same calibre of oppostion, but he appeared to be a very strong Jr. Lightweight. Anyone who I think may trouble him from recent years...maybe de la Hoya, a case could also be made for Manny Pacquaio. From the past, I really don't see Arguello beating him, same goes for Chavez and Nelson. I don't know too much about Sandy Saddler but the ring seems to believe he can beat Mayweather and if he can he must be a special 130 fighter.

Naturally I could have ****ed this whole thing up completely. :think First time I've really answered anything like this.

It's hard to do a poll like this B.E. because many people on here don't even know Hopkins was exciting, THAT's SAD. That and many people on here will pick Hopkins only because of Mayweather-hate. Good, knowledgable fans without bias are hard to come by.
