In the UK it's Lesnar, probably followed by Bisping. Most of my mates know **** all about MMA, yet the majority of them will be either sitting up to watch UFC121 tonight or at the least recording it for tomorrow.

I'm not sure if GSP is bigger than Brock or not, but GSP recently went to the phillipines and was mobbed there like a rock star, and certainly where I live, which is Canada GSP is easily the biggest UFC star in the country. And for that matter Dana White himself said if he could, he'd host an event here every week, because on a per capita basis, the UFC is bigger in Canada than in any other country, by quite a margin. That's why Montreal gets so many UFC events. Put it this way, if you define success as a fighter being able to bring seats into the fight from his hometown, GSP wins this hands down. But on a PPV basis Brock maybe bigger, hard to say after that long layoff. He only fought once over the last 2 years, so that's pretty hard to judge.

Oh yeah, GSP is certainly the biggest draw in Canada. Without a doubt. I'd be great if the UFC could get televised properly in France because you'd have to think that St. Pierre would do really there as well.

Ultimately compairing Fedor to Lesnar is really just going to come down to guesswork, Brock is plainly drawing more interest right now but how much of that is due to his presense in the UFC? As I said Lesnar drew almost no interest(what was it 4K paid attendance in LA?) fighting for FEG.

My guess would be that Fedor would pull a bit less than Lesnar in the US on PPV but generate a bit more interest in the far east and europe provided he was sucessful.

Of course if Fedor ended up in the UFC the chances are he'd fight Lesnar pretty quickly and the winning fighter would clearly draw more interest in the future(although Brock would probabley retain more popularity as a loser than Fedor).

I watched a Dana White interview and it's more like

    1. Brock
    2. GSP

    the others.

    for UFC at least.

honestly what the hell are you talking about this is a forum, i don't have to bring evidence of anything, my European friends say Fedor is the biggest draw, I am not going to go around with questionnaires...

if you are ask 100 members of the public in the Europe who they would want to watch fight Fedor or Brock most would say Brock FROM MY EXPERIENCE..

But you have got a point with casual fight fans and the WWE people who don't know about MMA would like to see brock fight, most people in Europe over 12 think the WWE is ******ed

    Exactly......

Fedor will always be a bigger draw than Lesnar in Europe because he has done something in the sport....
everyone is getting Arlovskieitis every time a new guy comes a long, the same hype around Lesnar is the same that was around Arlovski, Rashad, ad everyone else that gets a belt. the big draws are the martial artists who have done something special.... now I am bored of entertaining the argument Brock is the biggest draw in MMA it's total bull****.

Not to mention when Brock was the champion of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
