The difference in size will be very important here. This is the biggest size difference Pac has encountered. Cotto and Hatton were bigger, and Clottey was a lot bigger but he did not throw punches so he doesn't count. Marg beat Cotto and size was a big factor in his victory. Size matters, always has always will. It mattered in that fight, it matter in Bowe vs Holy, etc... Cotto is bigger than Manny, Marg is bigger than Cotto. We'll see. Some of you could be right, and Manny puts on a devastating show, but I wouldn't be surprised if Marg gives Manny a tougher fight than Cotto.
so are you saying that margo has to have floyd's attribute to beat pacquiao? very transparent. can margo not beat pacquiao if he keeps coming, use his workrate and iron chin and put some good pressure which is what he does best?
I agree. Considering everything we currently know, Pacquiao should win this BIG. A 12 round UD would actually be settling for less.
This is boxing, he's narrowing down the things Marg can do to beat Pac and saying he is not able too. Anyone who has watched boxing for a long time knows that there are tons of fights where that goes out the window. When has Marg ever had the timing, the speed, the whatever, against anyone? Hahaha, he just grinds them down and takes their punches and eventually wins, he has very good stamina too.
I guess the hypocrisy of defending the guy you pick to lose doesn't need to settle in until the dust is gone.
No one is saying Rockgloves has a 0% chance of winning this fight. Obviously that's not the case. It's never the case. However, "a snowball's chance in hell" might be accurate. Rockgloves holds no advantages aside from... height, in this one.
these guys thinks boxing is just simple as playing a video game, memorize the movement pattern and you can beat the boss. this is real life and many factors affect a fight you freaking kids.
Mr. everyone was saying Floyd was gonna have a tough time vs Baldomir and wrongfully was given no credit after a very underrated win has arrived. The irony.
Did Morales and Marquez show that timing and counter-punching controls emmanuel? Yes Did the little success Ricky Hatton have occur inside of the clinches? Yes Is emmanuel not that great at cutting off the ring? Yes Does emmanuel excel against slow flat footed fighters with no defense? Yes
