Paulie late stoppage, I see Willie Casey throwing everything into the first 6 rounds and burning himself out
i think paulie beats him handy to be honest, once it goes past 3 rounds, dont think casey has the tools or skill to trouble him imo!!!!
Right that makes sense alright. And i assume the winner of this fight will have to defend the title against martinez immediately when he comes back from injury?
Jaysus lads thats big news about Paulie vs Wille. Is Paulie ready for him though? I know he was scheduled to fight on the night but this is a 12 rounder for Euro title, the biggest fight of his career. Has he trained hard enough...? Hard one to predict-I will reserve my prediction for a few days yet. :smoke Will there be any bother between the dubs and the limerick boys? Heard a few on here talk about a riot if Kiko had beaten Willie!
You'd think that Hyland has been going full gun with the training all along. If he hasn't then it's his own fault. When you're on the way up you can't be taking the foot off the pedal. You'd like to think he takes a week or two off after each fight then gets back to the full routine. I don't see how Hyland stops Casey at all. The only way Casey doesn't go 12 is if he's not conditioned at all. Presumably Hyland will be willing to give away the first 3-4 rounds as Casey presses forward then hope to outbox him as Casey slows down. I'd imagine Willie is going to be looking for the KO though. Big fight and one that I hope lives up to expectation regardless of what happens!
:rofl As for the fight itself...Casey wins. I wonder will the inevitable fight between the winner and Martinez will still take place in Ireland or will the Irish fighter have to travel? :huh
or not as the case may be! *cough*McCullough-fiasco*cough* http://boxing-ireland.com/20101023_kiko_witdraws_casey_fight_59.html
