It worked with great success against Shane Mosley, even better than it worked for Vernon Forrest. :bart

I know where you're coming from. I stopped underestimating Pacquiao after he beat Hatton. Always liked him, but just found myself picking Morales, Marquez, ODH over him. I actually picked Hatton overhim too, but I wasn't so sure about that, I thought Hatton would probably wear the smaller fighter down and get a stoppage while being behind on the cards.

I think Pacquiao can mix it up against anyone in the welterweight division even though I think his best weight is 140. At jr.middleweight I'm not so sure. Margarito is not as good as Pacquiao, but I don't agree with the people that follow the mentality that if Shane stopped Margo, that Pacquiao will stop him in 6 rounds. I actually don't think Pac will stop him at all. Pac's best shot to hurt Margo is to the body, and if this is true, Margarito doesn't have to be as good as Pacquiao to land his heavy blows on the p4pking. He just needs to take some of Pac's punches to land his own. He's not going to win a decision like this, but we don't know the effect Margo's punches are going to have on Pac.

I think Margarito is a live dog in this fight, and I'm not a ******* or anything like that. I do pick Pacquiao to win a hard fought decision(even if it's onesided on the scorecards). But the danger is always there, I think Margarito has the style to do to Pacquiao what Pacquiao normally does to his opponents of catching him with something he doesn't see coming. And the way for Margo to accomplish this is by taking Manny's shot and landing a punch while Manny is punching. I don't think Margarito has the one punch power to stop Pac likes this, and I don't think Marg will land early nor often enough like this to win the fight, (which is why I'm picking Pacquiao) but the danger is always there.

For the record, I'm actually completely average in picking fights, so take this as it is, just an opinion.

The last time we saw Margarito above 147 against a southpaw was Daniel Santos and he looked awful with the style. I know Santos and Pacquiao aren't comparable, but it's a point. I'm not sure how well he deals with the southpaw style and the angles it presents. Factor in you've got Pacquiao who presents even more angles, add in to that solid punching power, great speed and fluidity in putting his combinations together and far improved accuracy and he's gonna have his hands full with Pacquiao's offence. As long as Pacquiao hasn't slowed in footspeed and can dance his way around the ring for as long as he needs to - be it the full 12 or less - then he'll be fine.

Reports were that Roach was worried. Arum went as far as to say that this Manny will get beat by Margarito.

Then a full two days later, Pac's had a good day of sparring and he's right on schedule.:nut

Those must be some majical powerful PED's Pac's on.:yep

I've said it for months now, those people on Pacroid's camp make him look guiltier and guiltier.

Santos/Margarito was 6 years ago. It went to the cards after the 10th round because of a cut caused by a head butt, and one judge had Margarito ahead. That fight is not relevant to the subject at hand.

    Outstanding observation.

Give yourself a pat on the back.

What was your point exactly? I've never said he would definitely beat Margarito because there's no definite's in boxing.

I'm confident he will beat Margo though. You are just making out like I'm doubting it because you think I'm a '*******' because I scored Marquez I to Pacquiao by a point.

EDIT: Also, I've counted one time where I've said either 'if' or 'as long as'. Go back to school you uneducated ****.

No it's not, it's 50/50. No reasoning either way.

He didn't say he's lost to 3 out of 6 southpaws, did he? So it's not '50/50'.

If he has a jab tell me why he couldn't stop Shane getting in close every single time? If he has a jab tell me why he couldn't stop Cotto getting in close to him and winning the first half of the fight? If you think throwing your lead hand out is a jab you have utterly **** poor standards of what defines the technique of a jab.
