It aint totally free. You still have to pay for Sky sports subscription. But i suppose its better than PPV.
Also the fact that its on at 4-5am here. Not many will stay up for a non-UK fighter and pay ppv for it too.
There's moar to boxing than watching marg get beat up. Martinez-Williams is happening in the same month, Khan-Maidana is happeing the next month. With or without poochiao, we'll be fine.
You cant charge a PPV tag on an event at 4am for **** sake sometimes sky even do that that is real criminal also sky PPV have advertisements, PPV addds unbelievable also they just buy the fight rights and none of the extra HBO stuff anyway
ppv not much. Unless he was fighting Floyd or Pac, I think he drew much more with Floyd too. Our PPV is only £15 too, which is roughly $25
Of course it will be, it has generated more buzz than it would, if Haye would face one of the Klits, well maybe not, but its right up there. I live in the UK, and most of the papers here have gone bonkers over the fight.
Yeah I think HBO will air it on the same day Paul-Sergio 2 gets launched. If I'm not mistaken about the schedule that's not a bad double header. I suggest you also take at least a 1 week vacation from ESB right after 11/13 to avoid the semen hurricane caused by rejoicing, rabid Pac fans.
I never actually bought a Hatton fight but I went to a pub or bar for all his fights. It was free but you had to put up with lots of "Hattons goin.....goin...Hatton....****ing kill him!" from drunk guys who didn't know who that "black geez next to Oscar in the suit is." (Shane Mosley). He was a big PPV star none the less by UK standards.
No, I'll be on here telling them that it was an easy fight. Most of them believe marg is a true challenge.
Yeah, I like their commentators too. They sound like reasonable dudes who give credit where it's due.
