Home. He hasn't won in years.

At this point even heading to a smaller promotion where the pressure won't be on to constantly be in big fights against elites because of his name to try and rack up some "easy" wins no longer seems like a viable idea. He is going the Jens Pulver route in a hurry. I just can't see him being too effective anymore.

    Quit with a winning record.

Brazil won the initial battle, but the war could well go Mexico's way.

Great fight for Diego. Looked like Paulo had plenty of opportunities for subs, just Diego was way, way more active, inflicting way more damage. I'd like to give Paulo credit for sub attempts from his back, but Diego was just way more effective with his gnp and control, both 2'nd and 3'rd.

Paulo's still on all fours fighting back tears. That was a beating.

If this had been scheduled for five, it would be a 100% guaranteed stoppage (4th round TKO if not a retirement after the 3rd).

Yep, even though Paulo dominated the first, the pace was really taxing on him. It looked to me like he spent a bit of his wad on the brabo attempts and was already starting to gas towards the end of the first, while Diego was just getting started.

He has a hell of a gas tank and pace.

Lets see if Shields can change his ways and show some ability to inflict damage from dominant position.

Nice to see that Shield's back acne cleared up since the Henderson fight...

And yes, I am insinuating that he was hardcore abusing to put on the amount of muscle he did in a handful of months. It's nice to see him back at a clean 170.

Even round in my book, neither guy inflicted any damage upon the other. Campman was able to escape to his feet and stuffed some takedowns which should count for something.
