I'm pretty sure he was already promised the winner of tonight's fight. Can't wait for that.

Quick recap to the folks who didn't see it.
Ding-ding- Lesnar charges him and took Cain down instantly but Cain popped right back up. Brock charges again and is using flying knees! Cain will go not down and they try and trade.
Cain then starts shooting Lesnar! He gets him down and lands plenty before Brock scrambles back up and stumbles across the length of the octagon totally ****ed and lands on the deck. Cain gives chase and goes on top. The fight is finished as Brock is curled up in a ball and Cain is peppering him at will.

Nah...I was referring more to the hype of him being unbeatable and how he'd tear through a gauntlet of Fedor, Overeem, and Velazquez in a single night being way out of whack with reality.

It can't be chalked up to the illness or any other excuse, either. Cain crushed him like a soda can.

I've been waiting for this to happen, and I'm glad Cain was the man to do it.

As for heart or will to win - yeah, Brock's already shown those qualities before tonight. At the end of the day, when a big hitter touches him he does start to fall apart mentally and that does not spell long-term success at the elite level. Plus, he still isn't well-rounded enough to ensure that a skilled heavy-handed striker won't touch him. When he shoots, it isn't a sure thing, and neither is keeping a man down once he gets him there. He'll likely never master the nuances of cute defensive boxing. If he remains in big fights, he's going to continue to get banged on and that means he's going to be beatable.

I'm thinkin Cain will finish it easy, he is way faster and could take down santos at will.

Velasquez - top of the pile
Dos Santos - clear #1 contender (young , great stand up fighter , great athlete and solid black belt)
Lesnar - freakish size , top level wrestling , 1 dimensional but still effective
Carwin - Huge huge power in his hands , solid wrestling base , questionable cardio , another huge man 265 every fight

They are the top dogs , underneath them come the following :

    Mir
    Big Nog
    Cro Cop
    Nelson

Some decent up and coming HW fighters like :

    Pat Barry
    Stefan Struve
    Brendan Schaub

Still, I'm not sold on Velasquez going on to become the dominant champ of the 'new era' as Joe Rogan is saying. As good as he is, Lesnar has obvious shortcomings.

Dos Santos will be able to accomodate Cain in a shoot-out :yep
