So UFC fanboys, what do you think about Brock now? Well, he was a hypejob, of course, everybody knew that :) And Lesnar/Carwin was the biggest fight in MMA ;) Now Velasquez is the top dog in the UFC. Probably only for one fight, until he fights JDS. I thought they will not stop the fight until Brock dies, but fortunately they did this time. Not taking anything from Cain. Cain is a good fighter, JDS is probably even better. But how good is (was?) Brock?

Cain against JDS should be a good fight, two top 5 heavies fighting against each other. The only top 5 heavies the UFC owns at this time...

Think about what Fedor or Overeem would do to Lesnar... I would take both to win against Velasquez convincingly. Oh, sorry, Cain is the baddest man on the planet right now ;)

brocks not a hypejob. he can actually fight and has built quite a respectable resume in the ufc.
he just fought a better fighter. it happens.

Brock was pretty much exposed for what he is though, no? I mean the recipe for his demise is in Cain, and Liddell's cookbook.

Stuff takedown, punch face= winning recipe.

What was surprising to me was how Cain's punches effected Brock. Those weren't tremendous shots, they were just good shots, and they sent Lesnar staggering.

Brock is gonna start losing to C level guys now. Fedor and Overeem would **** most of these hype jobs. Cain is for real but he has his flaws and I can easily see JDS knocking him out.

I wonder how many casuals are buying the Rogan hype speech/shilling at the end, sadly most of them are.

People should have known the division was bogus when a lot of the build up came from Frank Mir's fights LMAO.

Lesnar's inexperience and aversion to getting punched really showed tonight.

JDS and Cain are set to fight next. I think JDS can take it if he keeps it standing although it's hard to tell really considering that we've never really seen his ground game.

After tonight, the HW rankings imo should go something like this:

    1. Werdum (only cuz he beat Fedor who was previously #1)
    2. Cain
    3. JDS
    4. Fedor
    5. Brock Lesnar
    6. Shane Carwin
    7. Alistair Overeem

However, if you ask me, I think Overeem can wipe the floor with all the other HWs listed above.

I bet that Dana sets up Lesnar/Mir III (which Brock will probably win considering Mir's horrendous wrestling) and gives him another gift title shot.

Did you see the look on Dana's face when Brock lost? Lesnar was his meal ticket and he'll try hard to get him back on the throne.

Lesnar has the "tito" effect going for him which will I'd guess keep his career going for awhile, people really want to see him get his ass kicked.

i said it months ago and was nearly laughed out of the forum.
lesnar is just a bigger younger mark coleman.
but the point is its not just anyone who will be able to just walk in and hammer him. stylistically hes still going to present a huge problem for most of the heavies out there.
people are acting like hes dead and buried already but im afraid its just not that simple.

What I think we have seen is that theres been alot of smoke and mirrors by the UFC at HW over the past few years. You look at Brock/Carwin/Cain and they've built there careers off of a VERY narrow field and really the only link they have to the previous established top level HW's is an aged Randy and a badly declined Nog.

Heres the problem with this hypejob bull****.

Nobody GAVE Brock anything. He actually had to put on a pair of gloves, train, and beat pro fighters in their own sport to garner the rep as the 'baddest man on the planet'

Hes obviously not the fighter his fans thought, but hes not the sideshow joke many so called knowledgeable mma fans think eather.
