As great as Holyfield's accomplishments are, he's simply outshone by Pacquiao...Pac is a bonafide phenomena....transcending all weight classes//a modern day Armstrong..only better, IMO.

The poll would indicate no contest the other way...Funny statement on your part.

Pacquaio along with Mayweather, Jones, and Hopkins rank much higher than Holyfield. I've not gone beyond 50, but I'm guessing Holyfield pops up 75-90?

Holyfield gets a little overlooked in a P4P sense, and Pacquaio is generally overrated. Either way it's close, but I'll give it to Manny by a hair.

People will come around to the idea that Pacquiao is one of the very greatest of all time.
A Light Flyweight becoming an ATG Welterweight, whilst beating an elite fighter at Light Middleweight sounds like a total absolute joke.
    Holyfield is very underrated, though.

Lance Armstrong is definitely an all-time great of his sport.
I don't know enough about baseball to comment on Clemens and Bonds.

Anyway, so you're saying Holyfield is a drugs cheat. What about Pacquiao ?

I generally agree with this, though I didn't rate his win over Margarito as one of his best achievements.

I've noticed how fickle many boxing fans are with fighters following their ups and downs. A few years ago loads were saying Pacquiao will go down as top 5 or top 10 ATG p4p, regardless of what else occurs in his career. Then, in the last few years they've gone from (imo) overrating him to underrating him, and all because he lost a couple of fights.
