I am by no means saying that Hopkins won the fight, but i think we can all agree that it was very close.

IF Hopkins ould have gotten the decision how much would have this win have done for his legacy, resume?

Wasn't close at all at! Hopkins was constantly holding, fouling and faking being hurt. Other than the 1st kd, he didn't do much and was outworked.

Just another notch on his gun i recken making him already a dead cert automatic HOF entrant, no damage done to his legacy as it could ahve gone either way & the pants down over the knee arse spanking he handed out too Kelly Pavlik more than compensated for the tight decision loss against Joe.

    He is right though!

AND you haven't really asked a question have you?

A proper question may have gone along the lines of....

If Hopkins had got the decision would there have been a rematch?

    Or.....

If hopkins had got the decision would Joe Calzaghe have let him **** his missus?

    etc

    Three points:

    1 Gotten isn't a real word
    2 descision isn't a real word
3 If hopkins hadn't spent the last quarter of the fight crawling around the apron yelping like a lame old seadog and fought calzaghe instead, he might just have got the decision. Or he might have got stopped.

Pascal will stop him though, get your holiday fund on that one.

It was Hopkins' division and Hopkins' judges as Calzaghe moved to Bernard's backyard and category, the split decision loss is the most generous outcome Hopkins could get.

I dont see what criteria Joe won the fight with Hopkins on, majority of his punches missed from what I saw, he seemingly won the fight on willing, willing to go foward, make the fight, which tells me exactly why he wouldn't of won had Hopkins been closer to Joe's age, or in his prime.

When was hopkins prime? when he was beating up little guys and robert allen?

Calzaghe had one more fight, hopkins had his career best performance after calzaghe made him quit. How was Calzaghe closer to his prime than hopkins??
