Thanks, I thought I remembered Poonsawat losing. Linares is on now, beating Jesus Chavez's corpse.

He only won the title a few weeks ago, long after this fight was signed, and a long long time after Munroe had taken part in the WBC eliminator

One thing you can be sure about Royl Li Lee is he has a good set of whiskers and great stamina if he outpointed Poonsawat. I don't think anyone outside of his own family knows much about him though

    According to Senor Palmer:

    Rendall Munroe - WBC No.1, WBO No.9

  5. Little Tyson

    Rendall would beat Molitor.

Maybe it was just Jimmy getting his alphabelts mixed up.

Why did they fanny about before the Munroe fight so much when they could have shown Linares v Chavez in full?

Fair dues to Munroe he gave it his best shot against a real champion.

Nishioka is a proper World Champ. There are too many blown up Euro fighters going around with WBO or shared WBA world belts.

For a big SBW Munroe has never had any real power. He landed some good shots but they had no effect on Nish and that gave the champ confidence.

Munroe is a bit one dimensional and once Nish worked him out it was easy. A bit of an exhibition at times.

Munroe could beat a soft champion but he showed tonight he is of a similar to Bernard Dunne as a good Euro fighter that just fell short of the very top level.

Hopefully Rendall's promoter can get him a shot at Molitor...:good

If it's in Canada I would go to that...:yep But Molitor is always happy to travel so there is every chance he would come over here...:good

He´s better than Dunne, Dunney would have been sparked by most of those shots with that set of whiskers.

He gave it a good go but Nishioka adapted and showed a few different strings to his bow. It was impressive that he could adapt after early troubles.

Munroe should fight Booth or try to get a shot at Molitor somehow.
