I think the main reason Khan gets a lot of hate here is simply because Lazarus and Rainman don't shut up about him and are so annoying that the hatred towards them rubs off onto Khan

- Those that tend to frown on Racist thoughts will probably like Khan, and give him prasie. They will tend to override the prejudices/stereotypes and look at his positives.

- However, those that are not realy bothered about 'race issues' or appearing racist, who might not be the worst people in the world either, will see Khan as one of those 'typical cocky P%k*' who hangs about the streets causing trouble.

- To me Khan is one hell of a dude.

Every fighter has Die hard fans who purely love them because they're from the same background.

For me, I love Khan , but I love Boxing also.

Khan being a British Asian makes me proud to be one and I aspire to be just as succesful (Inshallah) not in Boxing, but In my Future career.

Same with the others. Every person get's behind their native hero.

 

I bet you thought it was logical when Khan said he wants Mayweather in a 4 rounder after his second professional fight.

 

Seriously though this is a very very risky fight for khan. Obviously roach has seen khan in with heavy handed guys in sparring and has enough confidence in him but i cant help but remember the prescott fight.

Remember this is the first time since that fight khan will have to face legit power and aggression. You just dont know how he will react to a real solid power punch landing on him. Sure will be exciting to watch though.
