If Khan is not lying about 154 pound Pacquiao's bombs bouncing of his chin as well as heavy shots from other sparring partners, it leaves me wondering, how? I know he was tight at the weight at lightweight but im sure the step up in weight would not increase his punch resistance like that. Also, when he was fighting at lightweight, I never heard him complain about making weight, it was never a problem? He was dropped by super featherweights. Gomez, Limond (who couldn't crack an egg) and blown away in a round by Prescott. Yet, now he is the next Jake LaMotta? How? PS: This isn't to hate on Khan. I just can't understand how his chin can improve like that.
weight drain reduces the amount of protective fluid your brain is encased in, making it much easier to score a knockout. at 6 foot khan at lightweight was probably suffering from a degree.
He got rocked by Pacquiao the other day. Didn't you read? I believe his resistance is much BETTER, but it'll never be GOOD.
Yup, when I saw Khan at New York, I was like 2 inches taller than him and I'm around 5'10 and a half.
wat. i remember reading he was 6''1' which sounded ridiculous. well that is still very tall for a LW.
If you ever read my posts, I admit I'm bias at times, but I'm not stupid. Khan's chin is ****, it always was, it always be.
For **** sake. Just because he's been sparring with Pacquiao with headgear and 16 ounce gloves, it doesn't mean his chin has turned granite. And who in the **** here has said he's the next Jake Lamotta?
Really, was it that hard for him to figure that out? Also the fact that I doubt Pacquiao is in prime condition, and maybe not throwing his best and hardest shots in an attempt to protect his hands or something.
