Believe me, Pascal will have watched that fight over and over again, as will Pavlik when it was his time

But neither Pavlik, not Pascal, are capable of doing what Calzaghe did

The whole fight depends upon Hopkins. If he's as shot as he appeared in the Jones rematch, then he's getting pulled out. If that was just a blip, then Pascal is in for a torrid night

JC looked even worse than Bhop. Remember the times JC was falling all over the ring? Forgetting where the corner is?:huh JC highlights are a minute long and didnt land anything clean. Slaps maybe. Are you trying to say that Bhop was hurt?:-( Look at the 2 fighters after the fight. Bhop didnt have a scratch on his face, cant say the same for JC. However, while I do not agree with the decision, I cant call it a robbery.:think

He beat Hopkins and made Hopkins look silly. Hopkins resulted to faking etc. Joe wouldnt give Hopkins a rematch because Hopkins acted like the racist ***** that he is.

I'm glad Hopkins didn't get a rematch. He fought an awful fight and after his disgraceful, blatantly racist comments, he didn't deserve another payday. Hopkins' 9 fans can think Calzaghe ducked a rematch, but Hopkins didn't deserve a thing.

If Calzaghe did duck him, which he didn't, it serves Hopkins right for blatantly ducking Calzaghe in 2002. Big payday and the fight in America...yet Hopkins wanted twice as much as he got against Trinidad despite not being able to draw flies to warm ****.

Calzaghe won the actual fight and would have battered Hopkins far worse in 2002. Despite being shot, Calzaghe would have won a rematch too.

Got to love Slappy fans :nut

I thought Hopkins won that fight at the time, watched it several times since and I still think Hopkins won it. Shame on me for judging on punches landed.

To suggest that Slappy would beat Hopkins circa 2002-3 shows an incredible lack of knowledge, same as the Slappy fans that try to claim ownage over Jones. Slappy was the biggest con job I ever saw in 35 years of watching the sport.

Love Bernard's headshot, after Joe drilled him in the early part of the sixth. Of course Cortez does nothing :good. Just imagine if Bute had landed that shot on Bhop.

In Joe's prime at 168, it would have been easier for him.

Speak that Truth Brotha!!! There was nothing about this fight that said "ABSOLUTE ONE-SIDED IMPRESSIVE VICTORY" by Calzaghe. It was a shitty fight that the best possible decision should have been a DRAW!!!! Because there were NO winners in this fight....ESPECIALLY THE FANS!!!! After watching this ****, I was like: WTF????

I will give Calzaghe his credit for the Roy Jones fight....but with a "Tag-line", because Jones was Already SHOT!!! Was already KTFO TWICE!!! Not stopped, Not TKO'd, Not having the towel thrown in...But laying flat on his back, dreaming about chasing chickens and making a rap video. In the Hop/Zaghe fight, both fighters landed "Staight Rights/Lefts". But the difference is...Hopkins Straight Right put Calzaghe DOWN, While Zaghe "Straight Lefts" never hurt Hop...at all IMO. And people mention How amazing Hop looked in his next fight versus Pavlik, saying that because Hopkins look great, therefore he was an ELITE-LEVEL fighter, thus makes Calzaghe win even MORE AWESOME:-(. If that fight happen in 2000-2002 Hopkins would have finished both Calzaghe and Pavlik. Hopkins was and for the most part, still is a top-level fighter....But NO Longer as "Offensive-Minded nor NO longer the FINISHER he used to be. Have a Look:

Well me neither but hes got something, he beat a BHOP thats been fighting like that for years and it was Bernard who was confused. Joes got brittle hands and one could argue that irrelevant of age, BHOp was more close to his prime the Joe was.

But in that fight was the first time I saw Hopkins really huffing and puffing very hard. Calzaghe has better stamina than Hopkins, also consdering he was the busier fighter (though Hopkins landed the cleaner shots).
