he was already almost 30 before even trying MMA. had NO standup experience Still beats four highly regarded fighters including one of the greatest fighters of all time, randy Cotour(sp?) Arent some of you tough *******s hard-guys being a bit hard on the guy? Personally speaking....he used to have to try to make 265. Now it seems that is his weight. DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE SAME GUY, PHYSICALLY, SINCE HIS LAYOFF AND SURGURY FOR THE PEFORATED INTESTINE. Give him a ****ing break. I know he's an arrogant ***** and bully but he's done some remarkable things in his short MMA career.
Hasnt done bad at all the man is one of only a few to be called UFC Heavyweight Champion and he successfully defended that title twice proving he was legit.
No, I always said he's overrated as ****. Effective no doubt. But it's a miracle he has won as much as he has. I think it's been known for quite a while that skill>strength. That's why it was always sad me to see him win only cause he was facing competition that kept making mistakes in their gameplan and preparation.
ve got alot of respect for what hes done for sure. He fought all styles and won for the most part. i cant help but respect that.
^^^ thanks man was just wondering why all the hate? Along with everything else, the guy has the evil villian charisma going on but charisma brings fans. people want Tim Sylvia back for petes sake? lesnar has one or two good fights left in him. Just appreciate whats hes done and give the guy a break
he's a top heavy athlete.......hes never going to have a boxer or kickboxers balance. To that, i really believe he isnt nor will be same same after his layoff. But as long as he's fighjting, he's going to be a draw. And not too many people are going to want to fight him. Ive enjoyed what he has done for this sport.
he does have some issues taking punches, but he got popped in the back of the head rather badly that being said, it just sped up the inevitable
Any time you become world champ, you're serious business. He's not bad at all. Don't like the guy but he's got my respect. One bad loss isn't going to destroy his career. I mean if it's any consolation for him - he's in the same boat as a handful of other elites who went down this year. I tend to think Brock should go back to his bad boy ways to recapture his fighting spirit. Seems like since he's returned from his illness he's humbled down and that affected his performances. I remember him taking a big knee from Mir and Brock didn't run and cover up. Instead he attacked with aggression and that's the more effective Brock. Cain's got power but I don't think it's devastating. Brock should have been able to take them. I take nothing away from Cain though. He is the best in the UFC right now. Looking forward to seeing Junior Dos Santos get a crack at him.
Everyone's on his back now because of the media and Zuffa pretending he was the baddest man on the planet or the greatest HW of all time. While when you really look at his skills he's far from that and it's a surprise he made it this far, gotta give him credits for getting this far though. The media and dana white's comments are responsible for all this flaming on Brock.
