    I'm far from sold on Lopez yet but I'm not sure how much store should be put into Rafas impressive win against Vasquez, although the moves still seemed to be there he could well have won that fight just by being the slightly less shot fighter out of the two.

    Vazquez was/is completely shot, Rafa is quite past it but still has something left IMO. However stepping up to feather to face a big puncher like JuanMa is not good for him.

    Whoah! now just hold on there Mryeags. Lopez is a talent and has some Tito-esque traits, but he also has so many bad habits and flaws he has to iron out before we anoint him.

    I agree, he'll probabily overwhelm Marquez though.

    Marquez has had 2 fights in the last 24 months whereas Juanma has had 7 in better company .... just cant see the guy losing ... bring on Gamboa next year !

    Just a personal opinion mate ... im a huge fan which kinda clouds my judgement ! Yes I agree defence does have holes in as Mtagwa exposed but he showed a good chin and strong heart to remain in there which was good to see... the style of his victories though is impressive ! :bbb

    to be fair marquez is on the slide and its hard to gauge what he's got left but i feel juanma needs to get him outta there asap. the longer the fight goes on the more its marquez's fight. rafa needs to box smart and not get invovled in a war (cant believe i just wrote that :yep)

    The problem with the Marquez bros. is even though they're very good technically, they give themselves up to get off. They don't mind getting hit to set up a counter and thats a bad look if you're an older fighter facing a little explosive badass.
