    Hi,

After reading magazines, newspapers, columns, blogs etc

What in your opinion is your most hated writer/critic? Who do you believe should never have gone anywhere near boxing due to bias/no knowledge/out of date etc

Just to see what people think...:D

There's no one that really stands out to me, maybe that's because i don't really read a lot of columns, blogs or mags. Plus anybody actually taking time out to write about boxing is good in my book. As Gaz says though, Fat Dan does come across as one of those erratic posters on the General...oh and we can't forget F Warrens efforts in the Sun, if that counts.

LOL!! Yep, I'd forgotten bout that!! Franks column in The Sun just seems to be there to settle personal vendettas a lot of the time.

not so much of a critic but Lederman is total **** - will never forget that laughable card at the Kotelnik-Alexander fight, total joke.

Ferdie Pacheco when he did the commentary for Duran-Leonard I

not a lover of Jim Lampley either

Pacheco was a decent commentator, just couldn't hide his bias at times. I think you could tell he was rooting for Sugar Ray in that fight.

    you think?! :D

"what a fighter Sugar Ray Leonard is"

he must have mentioned that 5 or 6 times during the fight!!

To think that people give Watt grief for his bias towards British fighters!!

I read Ring magazine this month and it is woeful. Honestly most boxing sites have better articles.

But Nigel Collins is a superb writer and it is worth the money just to read him.

Also I find Bernard Fernandez and Donald McRae, slightly too pretentious.

What annoys me is when he kept calling Pernell Whitaker, "Pea Wee" in the Chavez fight.

He wasn't THAT bad though, overall. He was the 'fight doctor' not an expert.

really i enjoyed the 10 who would beat floyd peice, the pirog bit and the marquez article.

no writers really annoy me, as they are writing about my favourite sport.im much more annoyed when i read a sport supplement that is nine pages of footy and 2 pages for everything else
