    hasn't fought after that pitiful KO against Keeton in prizefighter over a year ago now, wasn't he having problems with a persistent injury?

    his shoulder injury was a big problem in his career which is a shame

    People don't realise how many fighters careers were hampered by persistent or cronic injuries. Buddy McGirt is another example.

    McGirts was a biggie. He has a superb left hook and jab but then got an elbow(?) injury in that arm and was never the same fighter,

    I think Woodhall had a similar problem towards the end of his career.

    Yes, injuries never get the same respect in boxing as other sports. Which is a bit weird...

    It's a shame about how his career turned out. On his day, he looked world class.

    he was a very good super middle but he was never going to cut it at his age at Cruiser though.

    I'm on about his super middleweight run. The injuries had already took their toll on him by the time he stepped up to light heavy-cruiser IMO.

    I trained alongside Francis is Bristol once. He looked ****ing superb

    Ha yeah right, he tried throwing that 'famous' left hook at me (FROM BEHIND I MAY ADD). Well I swerved it 'sweet pea' style..... Hence the shoulder injury :deal
