Would people give Mayweather this welcome they gived Pacquiao ?

The real question to ask is could Pacquiao get as many people to buy a ppv event as Mayweather?

 

If I'm not mistaken thats Pacquiao arriving at LAX Airport.
Alot of the Pinoy community show up to welcome and greet Pacquiao......the same as when Pacquiao goes back to the Phillipines. There are not that many recognized big celebrities in the Phillipines and so when Pacquiao comes around, they flock to him.


This is'nt going to happen to Mayweather in that people here in the US are'nt as star struck, as simply this is the capital country of celebrities and people just are'nt as awed to meet one.

Of course not. Did this really need a thread? It's only going to get crazy PAC fanatics and Floyd fanatics fighting over popularity, PPV numbers or the OSDT issueatsch Floyd has better PPV numbers that's a fact and PAC has more fans. Those are the facts folks.

 

If that was Floyd the only guy waiting for him would be Karceno.

 

That and the fact that there are hundreds of African American sports stars in this country. If African Americans didn't have that many sports stars as the Pinoys then we'd show up in huge numbers as well.

Michael Jordan shits all over Pac as far as being a bigger athlete but you didn't see African Americans mobbing him at the airport when he would come into town because there's so many great athletes to choose from here.

 

To answer the thread honestly: NO.

 

There were majority of flips but there were a lot of "FANS" of PAC period who showed up. Regardless.....the fact that so many showed up in support is very impressive from a popularity standpoint.

Besides...People in the US ARE star struck for the biggest stars in "hollywood". Just watch TMZ and you see the kinds of crows that US fans create when the names of Brad Pitt, Angalina Jolie or a Will Smith are the topic of discussion.

American or Philipino all are guilty of being "star struck".

 

Too bad we're not reading and responding to threads about the great fight that should have already happened between these two. Instead it's threads arguing about ****ish admiration of two guys who won't fight.

 

crickets would greet that fraud at the airport. mayweather is nothing compared to Pacquiao. He knows it too. That's why he doesn't want anything to do with competing or being compared with Pacquiao.
