Trust me, Canadian boxing has been so generally depressed for the past few decades, that fighters don't have the money nor the media with them, to even get hyped up at the start. They have to earn their reps. This was true for Bute, Pascal and its also true for Lemieux.

Do any of you Canadian folks know if this is going to be on TV in Ontario - like TSN? Otheriwse, this legal stream posted will be a lifesaver.

BTW, Décarie isn't fighting Puiu anymore (he injured himself while training), but the Portorican Irwing Garcia.

A few years shy friend on Anber. Really short reach but almost Marciano like. Destructive power in both hands . I think he is going to have problems getting fights. Risk AND Reward thing.

What I said was true for all of Canada, at least in the long term past. You cannot deny that boxing in Canada has been generally depressed, with little media following for the past few decades. You cannot deny that prospect fighters are not as hyped as they are in the US and other places. As good as it is currenty, your little Quebec scene rests on 3 fighters. If anything, it used to be Ontario that carried the boxing torch with Lewis, Ruddock and Chuvalo.

Get a grip. Last time I checked Quebec is a monster challenge to Vegas. As if Canada was some boxing meca to begin with. Instead of shitting on Canada perhaps you should look upon yourself. Ever hear of George Dixon or Sam Langford?
