    Another post that proves you are a moron. Hearns was a boxer puncher. Not a pressure fighter. Hearns was versatile. He could pressure but his natural style was to box off the back foot ala what he did to Leonard for the first 10 rounds. Same with Duran. Please actually watch their fights son.
    Again moron who cant speak english and needs a high chair at Mcdonalds. Mayweather is a versatile fighter who can put pressure and do it well, as good if not better then any boxer in the sport. What dont you understand about this ****?

    i agree you dont get a seconds rest with him, if you back off him you wont get a rest, hes stright on you, not in the sense of throwing punches but in range to throw them so you cant take a break

    Never hear tension fighter before. Is that an actual boxing term? I get what you mean. But its still pressure fighting. He's putting pressure on the other man, backing him up.

    Margo and Paul Williams pressure but they take too much punishment to be called great. Cotto is good, but wouldnt do what Mayweather did to Mosley.

    Floyd is a great boxer, perhaps the greatest of the past few years although that is debatable.

    But Floyd being a pressure fighter, let alone the best, is so far from reality that I can only hope this is a joke thread and not an actual conclusion based upon observation!!!!

    Floyd is a great pressure fighter shows how versatile he is. He's like a cobra when he's on his front foot. He applies a very measured pressure.

    Floyd seems to be the best at whatever style he wishes to use. He uses different styles for different fights. To me, his versatility is what sets him apart from Pacquiao the most.

    Calzaghes 1000000 flurry punches/slaps a round created far better pressure imo. It was relentless.

    Calzaghe was a very underrated pressure fighter. Great jab, and when he got you on the ropes he could really bang, was good at getting around the guard too.

    But again this is about pressure fighters today. I dont see many great ones. Its almost a lost art really.


    Surprised nobodies mentioned Pavlik yet.
